# Kinderhook, in machine-readable form

> A small data file and a set of open scripts for describing the Village of Kinderhook, NY in formats that phones, search engines, and AI assistants can read. Maintained by David Nyman, who lives in the village.

The project is augmentation, not replacement. It cites Columbia County Tourism, the Village of Kinderhook, Wikidata, OpenStreetMap, the Library of Congress, Wikipedia, the U.S. Census Bureau, FEMA, and several New York State open-data feeds, and never mirrors them.
